These articles are a work in progress. I am and will continue to be adding to them whenever I run into something new or different. I do not claim to be an expert at anything, so take this info for what it's worth-- not much. I am writing these down for my reference, but hopefully someone out there will find something interesting in them.

Building a pier plate coupler. The holes on an LX-50 wedge are backwards compared to the superwedge. Since my pier was built for the LX-50 wedge, when I upgraded to the superwedge, I ran into a problem. This is how I fixed it. This article also goes into the major differences between the Meade standard wedge and the Meade super wedge.

The Simple Things in Life. Telescopes and astrophotography can be very complicated sometimes. Fortunately, sometimes there are simple little tricks and tips to get things to work your way. Sometimes you waste a lot of money to learn things the hard way, but other times you luck out. This article is a list of some of those things that I have come across that help you on your journey.

Focusing. Focusing is everything. Without focus, your photos will look really bad. Without good focus, your autoguider will not function properly. Without good focus, you won't be able to enjoy what you're viewing. And sometimes things are out of focus on purpose (nebulas). Many of these tips can also be found in the "Simple Things in Life" article because a lot of those doo-dads belong there.
